daal masala and curried lamb, with yam plus broiled onion and roasted sweet peppers

green split peas and lentils, turmeric, curry powder, sweet peppers and seeds, water (more water next time)

lamb, masala powder, cracked black pepper, sliced sweet pepper
broiled 6min then wrapped in foil and baked at 375 for 15min (or until it screams out at you); 10min rest

yam was microwaved for 7min, then halved and topped with sautéed cubed onion, broiled for 5min

my timing was a little off, so I threw the lamb in the recently heated oven for several minutes
